This does not happen in Manchester City. There is no explanation. they do not want me to continue here, " told Bridge the" Daily Mail ".

"Mancini doesn't talk with me and actually he doesn't talk with any othe player. I have the right to leave. The City says that I am here only because of money, but when we talk about trading my pass then its all about money, "concluded the English.

José Mourinho will return to England

Jose Mourinho has revealed that his intention is to return to the Premier League where he guided Chelsea between 2004/05 and 2007/08 but only after ending his contract with Real Madrid in 2014.

"I am very happy at Real Madrid is a great experience for me. It's probably the biggest club in football history and I would not miss the opportunity to work here but my passion is England and the next step will be working there. If possible for a long time. Seek me a club during the next couple of years, a good club, "he said on Monday to BBC.

The Portuguese coach has no doubts about the importance that the management of a squad may have in obtaining titles:

"For me, football is about human resource management. It is a human science. Emotional intelligence is the foundation of this sport and all of all the others. One thing is whistle a penalty winning 5-0 in at a friendly and another is doing so at the last minute of a game in the Champions League or World Cup. Preparing my players the best possible way is important because in the end its all about them about them. They are the ones who make the decisions at the right time. There is no a divine gift, they are the ones who make the difference.

Villas-Boas has 180 million to spend in Chelsea

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be handed a ban for blasphemy.

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be handed a ban for blasphemy.
The Federal Prosecutor Office decided not to present video footage in order to prove the Swede guilty of blasphemy in Milan’s 2-0 win over Cagliari.
The 30-year-old was caught by cameras uttering expletives shortly after suffering an intestinal spasm in the second half of the Serie A game.
The Federal Prosecutor’s Office has released a statement that reads that television footage will not be presented to the sports court because of ‘lack of clear elements that endorse the idea of blasphemous expression’.
The lack of sound proof is the reason why the materials cannot be considered viable evidence, despite them showing the Swede’s lips uttering offensive words.
The case of Ibrahimovic is not without precedent as in March 2010 coach Domenico Di Carlo (Chievo) and striker Davide Lanzafame (Parma) were suspended for blasphemous expressions.

Copa del Rey: Real Madrid faces Barcelona

Real Madrid will face Barcelona in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals if the pair progress to the last eight.
The draw for the last 16 was made on Friday morning and defending champions Madrid will take on Malaga, while Barca, last year’s runners-up, will tackle Osasuna.

If the top two in La Liga both reach the quarters, the pair would first collide at the Santiago Bernabeu before meeting again at the Camp Nou in the second leg.

Elsewhere in the last 16, Valencia have been paired with Sevilla, and Real Sociedad will face off with Mallorca in two all-La Liga encounters.

Albacete, who sensationally dumped Atletico Madrid out of the competition in the previous round, have been rewarded for their giant-killing heroics with a tie against Athletic Bilbao.

The other Segunda B outfit left in the competition, Mirandes, will take on Racing Santander, while Segunda Division sides Alcorcon and Cordoba will play Levante and Espanyol, respectively.

The first legs of the last 16 ties will be staged on January 3 and 4, with the return legs scheduled for January 11 and 12.

Kaka talks about Messi and Ronaldo

Real Madrid finished 2011 high in a year that Kaka has returned to good records. While considering that the great rival Barcelona is not unbeatable, the Brazilian compliments Guardiola's team.

"Barcelona is not unbeatable. We won the Cup final of the King giving them a little lesson" said the midfielder to Sports Band, admitting, however, that the Catalans are probably the strongest team they faced.

"They are tight and playing together for a long time. Messi has his confidence high" he added.

when asked who is better, Kaka said that Cristiano Ronaldo is more complete than Messi. "Cristiano is a complete player. Messi has great characteristics, but Cristiano is complete: can shoot with his left and right foot, has free kicks and is strong in the aerial game" said the Brazilian.

Cech accepts blame for Tottenham

Cech accepts blame for Tottenham blunder

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has accepted the blame for Tottenham’s goal in their 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane on Thursday.
The 29-year-old missed an opportunity to cut-out Gareth Bale’s low cross, allowing Spurs striker Emmanuel Adebayor to score.
The Czech Republic international was also at blame for spilling a shot at the DW Stadium last weekend and allowing Wigan to get a late equaliser, and the shot-stopper conceded he was at fault in the London derby.
“Unfortunately, when the ball came in, I was a bit late and he (Adebayor) tapped it in but it was a great cross, and I think I missed it by an inch,” Cech said.
“Unfortunately, there was a goal in the last two minutes (against Wigan) where somebody went across and I couldn’t see the ball and it fell to a player to tap it in, which was a pity, but that’s the way football goes sometimes.”
Daniel Sturridge – who has been in fine form for Andre Villas-Boas’ side of late – levelled the scores not long after Adebayor’s opener, and the visitors continued to press for most of the match.
They were lucky to end with a point however, after John Terry’s sliding tackle on the goal-line prevented the home side winning in the dying moments.
“We levelled the game and I think we did really well,” Cech said. “In the second half we put them under pressure from the start and had a lot of chances but we didn’t score.”
“Right at the end they could have won it but overall we have to say it’s a good point.”
“Both teams had chances, I think second half we created enough chances and could have won the game, but credit to them we could have won the game and as we all know we haven’t won there for some time now so it’s a good point.”
Chelsea sit fourth in the Premier League table, but Cech has refused to look too much into the standings, instead preferring to focus on the Boxing Day clash with Fulham at Stamford Bridge.
He said: “We can’t look too much at the table; we need to keep going step by step, try to win our games and try to catch up as many points as we can.”
“We depend on everybody else, so it’s up to them how they are going to do but we just need to keep winning our games.”
“(Fulham) will be a difficult game because they lost 5-0 at home in their last game.”
“It’s a big London derby and they will want to bounce back, so Chelsea is a great motivation to say sorry to their supporters after Man United but we are in a situation where we need to keep winning.”

Barcelona's Andres Iniesta Injured

Barcelona fans can breathe easy, with Andres Iniesta unlikely to miss any football after injuring a thigh in their 9-0 win over Hospitalet on Thursday.
The Catalans had plenty to cheer about during the Copa del Rey win at Camp Nou but shortly after scoring the home side’s second goal, Iniesta collided with Hospitalet goalkeeper Carlos Craviotto, prompting his substitution.
Barca said on their website the midfielder is likely to be out for 15 days because of the injury, but with the club’s next La Liga match not scheduled until January 8, when they play Espanyol, he should not miss any game time.
Pep Guardiola’s men went on to win the match easily, courtesy of braces by Thiago Alcantara, Isaac Cuenca and Cristian Tello.
The coach heaped praise on his team’s professionalism and serious attitude towards the tie against Segunda B opposition.
“We went for the ball, and never let our guard down,” Guardiola told Marca.
“I did not want our team to slip up. We wanted to put the triumph in the (Club World) Cup behind us. We came from a long flight, and I asked my players to take the game seriously.”

Neymar: Santos denies Barcelona has first-refusal option on Neymar

The Brazilian outfit has refuted claims that Pep Guardiola's team have an exclusive option to purchase the 19-year-old sensation ahead of the opposition for his signature.

Santos has released an official statement branding claims that Barcelona have a first-refusal option on Neymar as 'unfounded and untrue'.

Reports suggest that the Catalans have ironed out a clause with the Brazilian outfit, which would see the Club World Cup champion have priority in the event of a potential sale of the 19-year-old striker.

Nicolas Anelka in Shanghai Shenua

Frank Isola: Montreal Impact lucked out by losing Nicolas Anelka to Shanghai Shenua

The MLS expansion franchise would have sold jerseys if it signed Anelka, but the price was set way too high for the Chelsea striker

Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka was said to be intrigued with the idea of playing in Major League Soccer and was in talks with the expansion Montreal Impact about relocating to the French-speaking Canadian city.

It all sounded too good to be true which of course it was once the Chinese club, Shanghai Shenhua, blew away the competition with an offer that will reportedly pay the 32-year-old French striker $300,000 a week. Suddenly, spending the summers in North America didn’t seem so appealing.

Tottenham vs Chelsea Preview

Premier League Preview: Tottenham vs Chelsea

Spurs are riding high in third place, a spot above the Blues, after a fine start to the season, while Andre Villas-Boas' men will be aiming to bounce back from Wigan disappointment

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is expected to make do without the services of Aaron Lennon, who picked up a hamstring injury during the recent clash against Sunderland.Goal.com exclusively revealed that the winger's injury is not as bad as initially feared, but he should remain out of action for two or three weeks.

On the left flank, Gareth Bale is a doubt since he is recovering from an ankle problem. But the boss could choose to bring him back for this game considering the magnitude of the match.

Ledley King played in the 1-0 victory over Sunderland and usually needs time to recover from his match exertions due to his well documented knee problems, but it has been reported that he might be given a look in if he recovers sufficiently.

Meanwhile, Jermain Defoe is nursing a hamstring injury, but is expected to be back in time for the game against Chelsea. But David Bentley (knee), Michael Dawson (Achilles), Tom Huddlestone (ankle) and Jermaine Jenas (Achilles) are all sidelined for the game at White Hart Lane.

As far as Chelsea is concerned, captain John Terry picked up a problem during training but the club has since downplayed the problem. Boss Andre Villas-Boas may not be certain of having a full strength defense, as David Luiz remains a doubt due to a minor knee injury.

Ramires is also a concern as he is recovering from a muscle injury that caused him to miss the trip to Wigan Athletic. Frank Lampard should retain his place in the starting lineup if the Brazilian is unable to make it in time for this fixture.

Barcelona striker David Villa underwent an operation

Doctor hopeful that Barcelona’s David Villa can play for Spain in Euro 2012

The doctor who carried out the operation is pleased with how it went, and reports suggest that the attacker could be back in action in four or five months

Barcelona striker David Villa underwent an operation on his broken left leg on Monday evening, and it has now been suggested that the 30-year-old could be sidelined for as little as four months, meaning he could potentially be available for Euro 2012.

Villa sustained the injury in innocuous circumstances as Pep Guardiola’s side played their Club World Cup semi-final against Al Sadd last week, with initial reports suggesting that he could miss the remainder of the season because of the problem

André Villas-Boas is Already Very Brave

Steven Cohen: Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is Already Very Brave

There is a new sheriff in town and he is not going anywhere any time soon

A month ago AVB looked to be in serious trouble. It must have been true because the English media said it was. What they said was that if Chelsea did not win its next three very important matches that AVB would become just the latest victim of Roman Abromovich. He would add to why Chelsea can never balance its books because the club is always having to pay obscene amounts of money to managers who it summarily fires for infractions as awful as having been one year removed from having won the double.

Villas-Boas is not that guy and he is not in that category. I believe that somewhere and somehow the message has gotten through to the Chelsea players, or four or five who think they run the club, that there is a new sheriff in town and he is not going anywhere.

The results speak for themselves. A commanding 3-0 win away at Newcastle was followed by a monstrous performance by Didier Drogba at home in a must-win game against Valencia, and that was only eclipsed by inviting league-leader Manchester City to The Bridge to destroy its hope of an unbeaten season.

Eusebio hospitalized suffering from bronchial pneumonia

Benfica have wished a speedy recovery to Eusebio after the Portugal legend was admitted to hospital suffering from bronchial pneumonia.

The 69-year-old is in the care of doctors at the Hospital da Luz in Lisbon but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

According to leading Portuguese sport website abola.pt, Eusebio's condition has been described by the hospital's medical director Jose Roquete as "not serious but requires hospitalisation", and a further statement on Eusebio's condition would be released later.

Benfica were quick to offer their support to arguably the greatest player in the club's history.

"Benfica wish a speedy recovery to the Black Panther," read statement on Benfica's official website, slbenfica.pt.

Is Barca signing Neymar from Santos

Barcelona have refused to confirm or deny reports they have agreed a deal to sign Brazil striker Neymar from Santos.

Reports in Spain said Barca had agreed a deal to pay 10million euros in advance in order to have the right to conclude a transfer for the 19-year-old before 2014, with Santos forced to pay financial penalties if they choose not to sell the player before that date.
But at a press conference on Wednesday, Barca spokesman Toni Frexia refused to be drawn on the question.
"What we do is communicate agreements when they are finalised," he said. "We also respect that the player is a member of another team, Santos, so we have nothing to say.
"I don't explain things that we are doing until they are done."

Robben sorry for 'stupid' dive

Robben scored the last-gasp winner as Bayern won 2-1, but admitted to a "stupid"
dive in the first half which earnt him a yellow card.
"That was stupid," Robben told ZDF. "Perhaps it was a penalty, but then I should have
fallen earlier. I saw that I could not get the ball.
"It was stupid. I must not do things like this and I apologise."

Milan played their last game of 2011

MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI is happy with the three points and is now ready to get some rest in the break.

Milan played their last game of 2011 on Tuesday night against Cagliari and it ended well as the Rossoneri won the postponed-Week 1 clash and are now top of the Serie A table, at least until Udinese-Juventus.

Silvio Berlusconi said to the press that he thinks that Alexandre Pato should play with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but Allegri started Robinho, and the Brazilian assisted twice (one for an own goal) and helped Milan win.

Barcelona wins Santos and wins Club World Cup

Barcelona out-classed Santos beating them 4-0 to lift the Club World Cup on Sunday and confirm their status as the best team on the planet

Lionel Messi scored two wonder goals as European championsBarcelona thrashed Brazil's Santos 4-0 to win their second Club World Cup in swashbuckling style on Sunday.
The Argentinian striker put Barcelona ahead in the 17th minute, exquisitely clipping a left-foot shot over goalkeeper Rafael Cabral after latching on to a clever ball from Xavi. Seven minutes later it was 2-0 when Xavi himself latched on to a pinpoint pass from Dani Alves, beating one defender before smashing the ball home.
Cesc Fabregas hit the post and then stabbed home Barca's third on the stroke of halftime as the Spanish giants, winners in 2009, threatened to run riot in front of a crowd of 68,000 in Yokohama. The former Arsenal midfielder came within a whisker of bagging a second moments after the restart, forcing a magnificent save from Cabral.
Player of the tournament Messi made it 4-0 eight minutes from time, bursting past Cabral at breath-taking speed to slip the ball into the net and complete the rout. Santos, who lifted their third Libertadores Cup in June almost 50 years after Pele led them to back-to-back titles in 1962 and 1963, had no answer to Barcelona's brilliance.
"It may have looked easy but it certainly wasn't," said Barcelona captain Carles Puyol after his side became the first to win the Club World Cup twice since it became a seven-team Fifa competition. "The early goals made it easier for us," added Puyol, who dedicated victory to Spain striker David Villa, who suffered a broken leg in Barca's 4-0 semi-final win over Qatar's Al Sadd. "We never doubted ourselves and kept their forwards under control. It was a complete performance."
The quality and speed of Barca's play was bewildering at times. "It's impossible to stop Barcelona," shrugged Brazil's teenage sensation Neymar. "They are the best team in the world with fantastic players. But we are the second-best team in the world and for us that is a great reward."

Manchester United keeping a close eye on Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen

Manchester United assistant coach Rene Meulensteen has admitted the club are keeping a close eye on Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen, amid speculation the Premier League champions will bring in reinforcements in January.

• Man United blog: Handbags at dawn

United have seen their numbers depleted over recent weeks by a spate of injuries and are expected to dip into the market during the winter transfer window.

An attacking midfielder top of the list and 19-year-old Eriksen, whom United have long been linked with, fits the bill.

"This is a player that is on our radar," Meulensteen admitted to Voetbal International. "But that is to be expected. If people weren't looking, no-one would ever have an opinion on these players.

"It is true that a player like Eriksen would fit our transfer policy. He is being strongly linked with us, but to suggest that we are about to make a move is not true."

However, the Denmark international's agent was quick to point out that Eriksen will not be rushed into any potential move and attempted to play down the speculation that surrounds his client's future.

"Christian must weigh up every step he takes in his career," said Martin Schoots.

"He gave a lot of thought to joining Ajax. Last summer he could have gone to England, and a German club was very keen, but he passed the opportunity up.

"He has signed a contract at Ajax and a transfer is not an issue at the moment."
